We will also be open on Saturday 26th between 1.00pm & 5.00pm.

If the thought of earning a little extra money each week, tickles your taste buds, we're looking for people to join our happy harvest team from mid-April until the middle of June. You'll spend time in the fields cutting asparagus and then in the packhouse, processing it into fabulous looking bunches, ready for all our eager customers.
Fitness and stamina are essential.
If you can only offer one day a week, no problem, if you can offer, two, three, or more, that would be brilliant. For those aged between 18 & 20, pay is £11.00 per hour and for 21 years & above, £12.75 per hour.

For all our loyal customers... Unfortunately, the weather has taken it's toll; a poor summer and autumn during 2023, and a cold wet harvest through April, May and the beginning of June of this year, has left our asparagus in need of an early rest. We are winding down production and this coming weekend will see our last shop openings of 2024. Sorry we couldn't make the extra week as promised but we really need to safeguard the crop for 2025.

Still bugger all cut today but at least we now have sunshine and new tee shirts, thanks to @pawprintpromotionsltd, so plenty of smiles all round.

Despite another bout of rain forecast, we're taking the plunge and announcing an official opening, not a pop-up, but an actual, official opening. 🤪
Much improved temperatures through the week have made a welcome change and things of the growing kind are now happening in fields. Fingers crossed, folks.

Look who's going to pop in and run the pop-up shop, tomorrow, Monday 29th.
We're cutting in the morning and selling from 1.00pm until 5.00pm.
With the temperatures set to improve, we should shortly be able to announce regular opening days and hours.

We will be open on Thursday 25th April, 2.00pm till around 5.00pm, to sell the day's harvest. Please note, we aren't quite ready to announce our full, regular opening hours, not until the weather plays ball.

Planting is in full swing, woolly hats obligatory.

Not sure how long I can keep up the popping up but if you'd like to pop in on Tuesday 23rd, we'll still have some of today's cut available for sale from 9.30am till around midday, or until it's all gone. Get it before Ermintrude does. 😁

The poppiest pop-up shop, is popping up yet again. Open Monday afternoon (22nd) from now until 5.00pm, selling the day's modest cut. It's growing so slowly we don't expect to cut again until Thursday.
